Rev. Smith will guide us as we explore the latest PW Bible study. What my Grandmothers Taught Me unpacks the influence of “Grandmothers-of-the Faith,” what we have and ight learn from their deep wisdoms. In particular, we will look at the women named in Matthew’s Gospel—Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary.

Rev. Monica Smith a is a PC(USA) minister, ordained in 2000. She has served churches throughout Mission Presbytery and currently is Stated Supply Pastor in Luling, TX, home of watermelon, BBQ, and oil. Her spouse, Andy, is a United Methodist pastor, and they have two daughters, ages 13 and 11. She enjoys reading and hiking, and she requests your prayers for this year’s gardening ventures.
