How can we become allies of oppressed peoples when we are in the privileged role? This series will teach participants what implicit bias is and how it relates to the LGBTQ+ community in particular. We will learn how ally-ship works and what it means to be an ally in a spiritual and pragmatic sense.

Part 2 (Mar. 24) -- Ally-ship in Practice

The second part of the series will focus more specifically on the intersection of spirituality/religion and ally-ship. We will dive into the spectrum that is the LGBTQ+ community to understand one’s own position and how to create lasting, healthy relationships.
