Designed for folks aged 60+, this course meets two times a week for five weeks. You will explore the growing role of the internet in everyday life. You’ll learn about social media, how to avoid scams and fraud, identify reliable health resources, find events in your community, save money by searching for benefits programs, learn about online banking, see how you can interact with your government representatives online, and so much more. Prerequisites: You must already have an email address, be somewhat comfortable using a computer, and know how to navigate the internet.
