In this interfaith gathering, we will discuss Karen Armstrong’s book, Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life. The author believes that while compassion is intrinsic in all human beings, each of us needs to work diligently to cultivate and expand our capacity for compassion. In this book, she sets out a program that can lead us toward a more compassionate life.
The discussions will be facilitated by Rev. Anne Helmke (Faith Liaison for CSA) and Migdalia Garcia (PeaceCENTER San Antonio), with additional co-facilitators as needed.
