Group members will have until 72 hours before the start of the shift to complete their registration using the link above. Unfilled slots will be released to the general public at that time. If you are a group member and cannot make your volunteer shift after all please unregister yourself from the shift by accessing your Personal Site Link so others have the opportunity to sign up and fill that slot.

To have a personalized link emailed to you which will connect you to your Personal Volunteer page where you can see your upcoming volunteer shifts, cancel scheduled shifts, and view your volunteer history with San Antonio Food Bank, please use the following form.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your shift starts so that you have adequate time to check in. Please bring only what you need. The Food Bank is not responsible for anything that is lost or stolen.

Health and Food & Drink Policy

The San Antonio Food Bank is a smoke free campus. Volunteers who are sorting food must have no apparent illnesses. Cuts, abrasions and burns on hands and exposed are bandaged properly and hands are covered with disposable gloves. Closed toe shoes are required for ALL volunteer activities.

San Antonio Food Bank Policy on Photos, Filming and Media The San Antonio Food Bank invites you to share your volunteer experience through photos and filming. Selfies are encouraged! Because we provide confidential services which include minors, individuals with disabilities and an incarcerated population, it is imperative that a request to film and professionally photograph your volunteer experience be submitted prior to your scheduled time. Any individual or production company that wants to shoot professional video footage must obtain prior authorization from the Communications Department by calling (210) 431-8474. For safety purposes, at no time is filming permitted in the warehouse without prior consent and approval. The San Antonio Food Bank reserves the right to refuse any shoot request.

Thank you for supporting our mission to fight hunger in Southwest Texas.
