Does Christianity’s checkered history of dealing with Judaism and other religions represent a deviation from the tradition or something rooted in Christianity’s earliest traditions? We will explore this question across the two meetings of this class.
Rubén R. Dupertuis, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Religion and Chair of the Religion Department at Trinity University. He is the author of essays and articles on education in the ancient world as well as on the Acts of the Apostles, ancient narrative, and Greek classical traditions. He is co-editor of Reading Acts in the Second Century (2012) and most recently, Reading and Teaching Ancient Fiction (2018).
