Join us as we explore inviting narratives ranging from recent bestsellers to readings that have worn the test of time and even been translated onto the silver screen. The books span continents and diverse settings: The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi, How the Penguin Saved Veronica by Hazel Prior, and A Man Called Ove by Fredril Backman. For the last class meeting we will watch the movie adaptation of A Man Called Ove.

Sibi Aydelott holds a doctoral degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has taught in the United States, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar. She has also worked as a Curriculum Consultant. She moved to San Antonio in 2010.
