Tuition: Free

This workshop aims to help participants better clarify and understand:

·       personal experiences of racism and other forms of hatred

·       how to identify incidents of hatred, including racism

·       options for responding constructively to incidents of hatred, including racism

·       how to be anti-racist, rather than “not racist”

·       how individuals and organizations can dismantle structural racism and fight white supremacy

Lisa Stone has been an educator for 50 years, working with all age groups. She worked with the Anti-Defamation Leagues’ (ADL’s) Southwest Regional office for three years, using ADL’s Words to Action to prepare over 500 mostly Jewish students to respond constructively to antisemitism and other forms of hatred. Stone earned a Master’s in Public Health from Yale University, which provides her with a perspective on promoting positive development. She developed “Becoming an Ally Against Racism” in June 2020.
