Dr. Rajam Ramamurthy on Hinduism--Crises and Suffering: Perspectives from World Religions

Join us for a Series entitled, Crisis and Suffering: Perspectives from World Religions. Every Wednesday evening, from 7:30-8:30 we will explore the insights offered from different traditions on the themes of loss, suffering, and resilience.

Dr. RAJAM RAMAMURTHY is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Pediatrics, at the UT Health Science center where she was faculty for the past 37 years.  She is a founder member of the Interreligious Council of San Antonio that celebrated the 20 year anniversary recently. She was named the 2017 ‘Peace Laureate’ of San Antonio an honor bestowed by the Peace Center of San Antonio. She is one of the founders of the Arathi School of Indian Dance where she is still active in teaching. She often speaks on ' Art and healing', 'Spiritual Diversity and Healing', "bringing up a Generation of Peace".
