There is so much to celebrate this November! Join us for a different perspective on Autumn during Native American Heritage Month. Learn more about Native American wisdom and traditions at this family-friendly event. Decorate pumpkins and meet the Three Sisters, a sustainable planting strategy that centers on “corn, beans, and squash” (Sustainable Food Center). Sample wares from local farms, make sustainable arts and crafts, enjoy story-telling, cooking demonstrations and more. Tell your favorite family fable at our story-telling booth. Featuring local farmers, Native American musician and spiritual leader Randy Granger (https://www.randygranger.net/).
This event also coincides with National Farm-City Week, a time to recognize the impact local farmers have on our health and well-being, National Listening Day of Listening, and National Family Week.
